MARCUS PENIDO

Born in New Jersey ,1953 and relocated to Rio de  Janeiro at the age of 4,

father brazilian and mother american,

The passion for painting started 

at 9  years old.

In 1967 at 14 enroles in the Brasilian institute of art, today EAV 

 drawing with pencil charcol and classical oil painting.

1980 relocated to Los Angeles, with studio in Santa Monica

1982   Exibition solo, Abstracts Mark Reuben Gallery, San Francisco.

1983 worked in the collection Los Angeles, about life in the city, people and cityscapes

1985 retorns to Rio and exibits the LA  collection in a solo exibit in LAURA ALVIN  Gallery,

1986 to 1990 worked in abstract painting , performances and metal sculptures.
